RSVP for wedding

Hi

Can you please let me know how much time I need to give me guests to RSVP to the wedding? I think I need to let my reception hall know the final count about two weeks prior to the wedding. My wedding date is 4/27/07. What date should I use for the guests to RSVP?

My date is 4/14/07 and I put the rsvp date as March 10th. This way I have time to call non-responders, make seating charts, and so forth. I am mailing them out Feb 1st.

I'm having an RSVP date of June 1st for a July 14th wedding.... our final headcount is also due about 2 weeks before, so we figured we'd have a month to call anyone who hasn't responded, and as Jiffy said, to make the seating charts & whatever else is needed...

We'll probably mail them out a month before the RSVP date... so around May 1st.
