RSVP HELP!

ok so with the RSVP card I'm doing the usual

Kindly Respond on or Before November 1st, 2006

___accepts with pleasure
___declines with regret


Because 'ettiquet' wise, there should not be another line for number of persons attending, did anyone use this wording and have issues with people not writing in '(persons name) AND GUEST'???? I just do NOT feel like having to make a million phonecalls for the people who dont know how to fill out response cards nor do I want to assume their guest is coming, pay for them, & have only one person show! ANyone have this problem???? Anyone use different wording???? I want to do the accepts with pleasure & decline with regret....just dont want stress with the resvp's. Is it okay to include another line of
____number of person(s) attending?????

I like the way you did your wording but I would use this set up.

More and more brides are steering away from tradition when it comes to this bc people are not specific and some guests feel the need to bring thier children when the children are not invited.

There was a post about this. Some women are even doing this

There has been _(2)__ seats reserved in your honor.

They are writing the numbers in bc of budget reasons. Hope this helped!

yeah i posted this one yesterday. this is pretty much how our cards are. (except we put, 'Accepts with pleasure' or 'Declines with Regret'

honestly i think these days sometimes etiquette has to go out the window. ppl can be dumb and rather uncouth--so sometimes you truly have to S P E L L it out for them. that's the reason i did that on our cards
