RSVPs

so 3 days in a row & no reponses. i still have 3 weeks but missing more than half. just got off the phone with a friend who is coming & she says 'yeah its still sitting on the coffee table'.. so i'm in one my moods today, i said back 'yeah i know how hard it is to put in the mailbox with your other mail'.. she started laughing cos she knows i'm right.

what is wrong with people. I know there is more to life than my wedding. so annoying if you KNOW you ARE coming can't u mail it back already

Im mailing out my invites Monday, and I am trying to prepare myself for that too! I am such a control freak, I will probably be calling people this week to mail them back!

I totally agree! Maybe they will all come in on Monday! Good Luck!

Re: RSVPs

Knowing how stressful it is to wait for RSVP's to come in, I sent out an RSVP card 2 days after I received an invitation to a wedding a week ago...hopefully I'll accumulate enough good karma so that people will RSVP quickly to my wedding

Sorry that some of your guests are being silly...good luck!

I supected that something like that would happen, so on the RSVP card I put, If we did not received you rsvp by May 30 then we was sorry but we will not be able to accommadate them at the reception.

Re: RSVPs

I mailed mine out on Wednesday and I'm heading to my mailbox right now to see if there are any early bird RSVPs in there!!

Re: RSVPs

for some reason people think the RSVP date means that 's the day you're supposed to put it in the mailbox! It's frustrating but you should give it a few days after the RSVP date before going crazy on people, then the phone calls can begin!

I don't know why people do that. I get so excited when I get an invite I send it out ASAP!

Re: RSVPs

My suggestion to you is to stay on top of it! I started sending out emails to whomever's addresses I had, just to 'make sure' the invites were received...just so that I wouldn't be stuck making a thousand phone calls at the last minute! It worked! Even the cards I didn't get back, I at least heard from people as to whether or not they were coming! Good Luck!!!

Re: RSVPs

This has to be the worst part of wedding planning. I don't know of one person that has gotten married that had the RSVP's go smoothly. I'm sending mine out and giving over a month to RSVP for this reason.

Yup, its frustrating that people think this way. FH had to correct a couple of his friends and tell them to send it asap, not on that date!

Re: RSVPs

I feel the same way!!!! I am mailing mine out tomorrow and I am hoping that everyone sends it back right away. I already pre-yelled at FBIL and my brother that they better rsvp-because I know how they both think. .... 'She knows I'm coming- so why do I need to rsvp'!!!

And I'm sure I'll get the people who rsvp with a guest but are not bringing one and/or the ones that are bringing one but don't rsvp with a guest!

And I am also a control freak and want to know who is coming and who is bringing who and I want them back right away!! lol

Re: RSVPs

i hate that attitude!!! if you know i'm coming then why do i have to send it in.. because you have to and i can't take your word for anything!!!
