i am assuming we all have/or will have waited until after our RSVP date to get all of our responses.....how long after your RSVP date did it take to get a final count? when did you start making phone calls? my RSVP date is this Saturday, did a lot of your responses come in the last week? we don't have many responses - right now i have 68 yes and i think 6 no....we are waiting on A LOT of responses....

I got married 17 days ago and I am still waiting on 11 RSVPS

you think that your family and friends wouldnt be like that
its funny because we invited 2 people that we dont know - they are related to FH's family in Italy that are attending - and they both sent in their RSVPs and they are both coming to the wedding - people who dont even know us have the courtesy to RSVP and actually attend but other people, people you know, decline, or forget to send an RSVP go figure!

After 3 days past the due date I started calling people. I recieved the last rsvp 3 weeks after the due date!!

i just emailed my mom - i reminded her about reserving her room - and i reminded her to mail her RSVP
LOL.. I did the same thing with my FIL!!!

I gave up on my mom sending her rsvp. We have a min of 200 and we invited 280. When we booked last year, people were so positive about coming, now they are not that sure. We only have 106 YES so far. I am still waiting on over 80 RSVP cards. I am hoping to at least get to 180 ( we have the vendors as reserves to make up the rest) but with the lack of responses, I am not quite sure. oh, here's another reason some people are not respondng, my friends are waiting to see if they will have a date by then... you have 10 days... come on now.

I am having the same issue. My rsvp date is 10 days away but I still have most of my responses oustanding. I actually started to get really depressed about it the last few days since we didn't get any. I am really worried about meeting my min in this ecomomy so it's not helping that people just can't seem to get their act together.
I def. think the economy has a lot to do with it. Of the 314 people invited, 41 are from OOT and I know they will more than likely not come, some haved already RSVP'd no. I think even people in the metro area like from NJ or Westchester will not be coming to our wedding.
I know I'll def. have to call people and more than likely on my side
