Is anyone doing their RSVPs the non traditional way by having your guests RSVP on your wedding site? I think I am going to do that and add my wedding site info on to my RSVP card and have people just do everything online. I feel like its so much easier ---especially for me with law school and everything. Anyone else doing this?

I know what you mean about the physcial cards but in my case having to deal with a million cards while studying for finals and the bar exam is not a reality lol.

I think in 5 years it will be the norm. I think it's cool, but I think it will puzzle older guests, and for me I really want to have the physical cards

I also think that people wont put it off because its online so its another reason to do it.

I had everyone e-mail me. It was the easiest, best thing I did with the invites, everyone responded on time.
ETA: We knew that only two people would not be able to e-mail us (DH's gmas), and we already knew they were coming.

one of my friends did that for her wedding last may. i thought it was great. that way i didn't have to worry about returning the little card.

It sounds like you're pretty set on the idea and happy with your decision, so I saw go for it!

Re: RSVPs Non traditional way
I think our friends would be more inclined to do things on-line but definitely not for family. It's just easier to send out a formal RSVP card because people know what to do with that.
