RSVPs - when should i panic?

we invited our a&b lists with 124 ppl. our minimum is 100 and our rsvp date is oct 26th. so far, we've received 76 confirmations and 7 declines. we have a c list of 12 ppl.
when (if ever) should i start panicking and inviting our c list?

do you think that ill even need them though? we dont really want to be over our numbers. even with a 20% decline for what we have left im gauging our number to be at 104/5. am i far off??

You can never tell, it's up to you. we had 7 people cancel the week of the wedding - 2 couples had deaths in the family, 1 couple had an illness and 1 gf no showed.

I would send them now as well. I had the same problem and was scrambling 3 weeks before my head count was due. I finally got to about 8 people over my minimum but then I had 3 people cancel after I put in my final head count and had 9 no shows the day of the wedding. After all that I still ended up under our head count.

has anyone gotten refunded for cancellations? a friend of mine had them add this her to her contract...so smart. i never thought of that.

go with your gut, if your thinking you need to send them - send em!

What's more important - paying ONLY for your minimum, or using up all the seats even if you go over a little. If you only want to pay your minimum, hold off on the C list. You may end up paying for the extra meal or two, but you can have them wrap it up for you.
