rudeness!

Why do people think it's ok to ask how much you spent on wedding items? Not you girls, clearly you're asking because you're also planning a wedding. Someone in my office asked how much I spent on my cardbox and when I refused to tell her she told me she'd find out and wanted to know the website I bought it from, and she's not the first person to ask about $$$. I'm shocked Do you girls experience this?

Ummmm....Why the He - double hockey sticks does she care so much??? Tell her unless she is a 'bride to be' , she is going to have to use her own ideas and do her own research!!

No! She's 50 and no where near planning anyones wedding, she just wanted to know how much I spent for her own curiosity.

i dont think anyone has asked me about cost except for LIW girls. totally rude!

I've had people ask how much per plate!!!! WT@ I just say 'enough' or ' a lot'

That's one question I wont' answer!!!

I hear you! There is a woman who comes in to visit my boss and starts questioning me.. I dont answer!!!

oh ok, and the best part, I showed her the pictures on shutterfly and she said she was going to find out the price (after I wouldn't tell her) and I said it's just the album you won't get prices there and she left my cubicle saying she is going to find out the price. I'm hoping this was her being facetious

one of FH's friend is as such.. he took care of it really well..

wow thats insane! i could see asking the price out of curiousity and then feeling guilty when the person says no.... but to tell you she's going to go find it?!!!!!!!!

people ask me alllll the time. It makes me uncomfortable. And for the most part, people who are asking usually remark with 'I would never spend that much'

Although most of those comments come from people who never threw a wedding..

Maybe she thinks it's so amazingly beautiful and is just curious how much something like that would go for. I have been asked $$$ questions. Sometimes I take offense and them sometimes I am very flattered becuae they thought they item was gorgeous and must have cost a fortune. I usually respond by saying how much do you think I spent.

actually, the 2nd woman that asked me I did tell the price to because I can tell she asked because she loved it. I really think this first person asked because she wanted to tell me I spent too much. She even tried guessing at one point and threw out the price of $20, it was a lot more than that! After that I definitely wasn't going to tell her!
