rudeness!

i had people in DH family ask me a lot because NY wedding are just so different compared to where he grew up..but it wasnt really in a rude way..they just saw what a big deal it was ( in comparison) and were curious

half of them i didnt mind telling them becuase i knew they werent being rude about it and they all said they were in the wrong business


but the nice ones about it are few and far between

Thank goodness no one has asked me that. Not even the girl at my job who is getting married next year.

Well that's it too...it all depends how and why you think someone is asking you. If you feel that someone is being sincere or may be asking for a reason, you may feel more inclined to answer them. Unfortunately, most of the time people are just being nosey or obnoxious.

I hate this too!!! A girl I work with got married recently and she is constantly asking what I spent on things to and compares it to what she spent! My wedding is more expensive than hers was so whenever she finds out the prices of things she says how stupid I am for over-paying and I can get something just as nice or nicer for less. It's SOOOO annoying!! I gave up on talking to her about wedding stuff because I am happy w/ everything we got for the wedding! I don't need her negative vibes to bring me down
