I heard that starting Jan 08 passports will be required on domestic flights also... not just international.
I can't find a news release to back this up but someone I know told me he heard this from a postal worker....
Again, I don't want to cause mass hysteria but if you happen to be at the post office - look into it! Especially for you girls going on domestic Honeymoons...

and u know...its SO easy to get ur passport...i would just get one if u dont have already...i think it would be smart to be ur form of ID on any flight.
it may seem like a pain in the tushy...but once you have its good for a long time
can you PLEASE go to the bait store and explain this to Anthony
i swear it is like he WANTS to pay the extra fee to have a rush order put on it i printed out the forms - and FILLED THEM OUT all he has to do is GO! I even offered him the money!

Thanks for the info!! I'm going to print out the forms tonight and tell FH that next week we are going to get them done.. I want to avoid the rush!

what is the process for getting one..?
do you just have to get the picture taken and bring it to the post office? I know when my brother needed one.. I took him, but my mom made all the calls...

you also need a few forms of identification, I forgot exactly what but possibly a birth certificate and a license?

he already has the picture but he purposely made a mean face - the girl begged him to take it over and then the guy who developed them asked him to take it over too but he refused!
he wont let me see it until it is ON the passport - otherwise he knows i will nag him until he get sa new pic
i am so scared !LOL

Thank You!! I will definetly be going within the next week. Next time me and FH have the same day off we can go.. This way i can MAKE SURE he gets is taken care of.

both times i had to get it i had to do the rush order...to go to the passport agency in the city and get it the same day

i know that for Canada and Mexico, PR (anything outside of US states) it is now required
