RUNNING AWAY *VENT* Don't Mind Me....

If I don't vent this out i'm going to explode and literally smash something so don't mind me i'm just throwing a tantrum. FH is so seriously on my SH1T LIST it's not even funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every single thing I want to do for this wedding is an arguement no matter what it is, he has something to say and nags and annoys the crap out of me!!!!!! Why can't he just be a regular guy and stay out of things sometimes, he is so bad he even went so far as to dictate what material and style my girls dresses can be! He had something to say about flowers, limo, hall blah blah blah blah blah it's like listening to Charlie Brown in my ear every single day WAH WAH WAH WAY until I want to literally do this -->

I can't even hear myself think sometimes because the minute I open my mouth about something I want for the wedding he becomes a nag and starts arguing with me, I want to smash him! Last night I was upset b/c we've been to numerous places for invites and I couldn't find anything I liked and he was getting sick of me so I got upset at dinner and all emotional of course. So we get home and as i'm sitting on my laptop I get a message on the computer from him to go to a website and it is the most BEAUTIFUL invites I have ever seen in my life! I totally fell in love with them and was so happy and tearing up and all hugging him and stuff. So this morning I mention to him that i'd like to get prices on a calligrapher and he starts all over again NAG NAG NAG about how much it costs and why can't we just get labels and stick them on! I really don't want to do labels and I didn't say I was GOING to do the calligraphy, I don't even know how much it costs!!!! but he would not shut up he kept going for 45 minutes....no exxageration! So I finally freaked out and started screaming and yelling that i'm done planning anything b/c he's a nagging pain in the A and well I haven't heard from him in the last hour and a half. lol. But really I'm so sick of his mouth....!!

Oh....and the most priceless comment was....'oh, u just have to do it b/c ur girlfriends on LIWEDDINGS are doing it!!!!!!!!!!' I wanted to smack him!

ugh. sorry so long, I feel much much MUCH better now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry men can be so annoying....my FH is the same way sometimes....

my FH is way too involved for my tastes as well. Seriously, the things we argue over are favors, place cards and CP's!!

So where should I hit him??? Kick in the A or punch in the schnoz??

I'm sorry he's been getting on your case about everything. Look at the bright side, at least he's involved in it. But i can imagine how frustrating it is. FH gets like that at times. I wanted to do 'I DO' letters and I got the response of, you dont have to do everything you see on LIWeddings.' SO that got scrapped. Have you told him that it upsets you that everytime something about the wedding comes up he gets on your case about i?

I wasn't kidding either. Sometimes men need a good slap to bring them back down to earth!!! I prefer a nice punch to the stomach when they least expect it.

maybe if you explain to him that his nagging is ruining your excitment for planning the wedding he will understand...either that or you can just duct tape his mouth shut!!!

I made a list last night of all the thigns left to do and my FH is like 'YoU really are Dramatic'
im like excuse me.???........... if i dont do this then who will? then LISTEN TO THIS:
i ask him, honey do you care what our cake topper is? and he's like YEAH i want the one with you pulling me, im like HELLL NOOOO!!! And I say I want our Initials - Im like G & M or GnM & He's like we could have GMC (the car brand) and im like what are you talking about? he's like why wont we just put the Mercedes emblem on our cake topper


I have no idea where on earth he gets some of these craziest ideas, and why he even opens his mouth. just to piss me off.
so i hear you. just breathe. and everything will be ok.

Or paying a gazillion dollars for the DJ because he can't keep his mouth shut and tells the DJ not to 'sell himself short and give us too much of a discount'

'what about $15?' and he came down a little and before I could answer my friend goes, Oh, $20 isn't bad, why don't you just pay $20? (YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BARGAIN WITH THESE PEOPLE, THEY EXPECT IT!)
