Russo's food tasting was tonight!!!

Everything was so amazing. Joe was our server and he made us so comfortable. We tried appetizers, salads, pastas and all eleven entrees.

I loved the phyllo dough filled with ricotta and sun dried tomato for app, the house salad for salad, and we're going to do a pasta duo... rigatoni and pesto ravioli. SO GOOD!


THEN, we got to see the Russo's Viennese all set up. All I can say is WOW. I've seen it on paper, but it's totally different in person. Everything I could ever ask to have added is already included... chocolate fountains, breakfast station (eggs and waffles!), crepes, zeppolis, cotton candy, popcorn... even a FULL CANDY BAR!!

We got to try the cake fromt he wedding that was going on (Joe stole 3 pieces for us... chocolate cake with oreo mousse) and it was phenomenal.
I can NOT WAIT for our wedding. Russo's is so on point, everything they do is out of this world. I have absolutely not one gripe.
YAAAAAAAYYYYYY!

OH, and on the way out... in case you're not full enough... they have a to go bar with coffee and tea and little munchies... and while you're waiting for the valet you get honey roasted nuts and water complimentary. They think of everything!!

How did you set up your tasting? I'm probably gonna end up doing it in August!

Hey Cat! I just called and asked and they gave me some dates to choose from.

They let you have 6 people including you and FH, presumably for both sets of parents.

It was such a nice experience, you should definitely do it. I tried things that Id idn't expect to like and fell in love with them. I got to have Duck a l'orange for the first time and it was delicious!! And the pork osso bucco was the best thing I've ever eaten... the bed of risotto was flawless!! FOOD WAS SO GOOOOODDDD

glad it went well! now im hungry!

See, I told you it was beyond phenomenal!!! I had mine a couple months ago and just had the cake tasting. We're doing a chocolate cake with hazelnut and oreo mousse filling...it's nice to hear another bride rave over the food!!!

YAY ....you just made me ever more excited!!!!!!!
