Well we had already booked SoundCheck (DJ Mike) and FH already saw him perform. I just wanted to go really to see him (I wasn't having any doubts I think Mike is great) and see how he interacts and his personality is wonderful.
FH and I also went to make our next payment on the Russo's bill.. lol It's odd but it seems that each time they have the showcases, it's usually around the time that we have to pay the bill.. cool huh we get free food..lol. We made a night out of it and had dinner before we went.
I had also went to see Classie Sounds (CSE) and met with them before we had met with SoundCheck a few months back.
I felt that all CSE is trying to sell is their lights and special effects (they also originally told FH a price of $1200 for DJ and MC and when we met with them it turned out to be almost $2,000- I was furious that we even took the trip there after all that). They wouldn't even give us a quote for one DJ w/o a MC!
I was still curious about them though and how they did their showcase (they ended up having technical difficulties as well). It was nice though to see them both.
I keep looking at the Thomas Knoell pieces and drooling a bit..lol I can't wait till it's time to pick out my tiara and jewelry.
