Sad

Sorry for your loss. I say keep the photo in the montage and like someone else posted maybe do a general 'for those we wish could have been with us today' that way no one gets too sad.

Honestly from my past experiences, you have to do whatever YOU and your FH feel comfortable with, and not worry about what others will think on this issue.

If you start asking your other cousins, aunts, uncles, etc., you are going to get half yes' and half no's and you will be even more confused.

Its your day and you should choose who you wish to remember in the way you want to remember them.

You can add a few pics in your montage or you can even just have a pic of her on your memory table, or just even have the priest mention her name during the mass.

I am so sorry for your loss. You should definitely do the montage and maybe in your programs you can add a little something like 'In loving memory to so and so who made us laugh and love' or whatever you feel about her.

I already added her in the program where we are remember our deceased loved ones. Thanks for the suggestion!!!!

I am beyond sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family during this time.

I think I would give the family all of the options you came up with, then figure out which would be the most appropriate. Obviously, there are going to be mountains of tears whenever it happens, but I think her immediate family should help you figure out which way would be the least. . .I don't want to say awkward, but it's the best way I could think of putting it.

I'd ask your family for input. I know as much as I'd like certain people mentioned during my ceremony, my mom would start balling.

I'm sorry for your loss. I wish I had an answer, but really only you know how your family would react to either of the situations. Good luck with your decision

I would add the pictures to the montage but I would not have the priest or DJ mention anything. I know you want to remember her but it may be really hard for the immediate family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I think different people would react differently to the picture so I'm not really sure the direction you should go in with that.

I think I would include her in the photo montage as a way of remembering her and how special she was to you. I am so sorry for your loss

you can have the priest mention her name at the point when they say 'we pray for.....'

I am so sorry for your loss.

My stepfather passed away 4 months before our wedding from cancer also and we did this. It went by fairly quick and honestly I think the only person who got emotional was me but I just felt in my heart he needed to be acknowledged in some sot of way.

Again I am really sorry you are going through this. If you need anyone to talk to, feel free to fm me!

I would def. have the preist mention your cousin and would keep her in your montage. She was someone that was very important to you and FH and I find it only fitting that she be included.

My prayers are with you and your family

I would do a picture of her and have the priest say something.

Thanks everyone. I just got back from the DJ and I used 2 pictures with me and her in it for the montage. It's important to me and i def know she will be there in spirit that day and I really wanted to remember her. Thanks again for all of the advice.

I am sooo sorry to hear this!!!

I would keep her in the montage and do something general for the mass. To acknowledge her.

How are you feeling?
