... My uncle who was supposed to give me away, passed away earlier this evening.

I'm glad I got the chance to ask him, though... he was so excited and wouldn't stop talking about it.. he has one son, so he was so happy to have a girl to walk down the aisle.

Your uncle will still be walking you down the isle.. just in spirit.. he will be there with you the whole day!! Try to keep a smile on your face, because your uncle would have wanted to see you that way.
