We looked at CLM and didn't really fall in love and so on Sunday we went to look at Lawrence Beach Club- which was our first choice. It's a long story but to sum it all up they were horribly mean to us, made us feel unwelcome and I left there in tears. My MOH suggested Crest Hollow Country club and I was soo excited because it seemed to have everything I was looking for. I called my mom all excited and she immediately said I could not get married there because that's where she had her first wedding. Jericho Terrace, Lands End, and The Riviera are also out because friends of ours have either just gotten married there or are about to get married there this year. I just feel like I'm never going to find a place that is going to work and at this point I would settle for a pizza party in my back yard .
Does anyone have any suggestions- I am DESPERATE!!
Thanks!!!!

Unfortunately, I don't have many places to suggest since I only went to 2. Good luck with the planning and don't let it stress you!! After you book the place it will get more exciting. I promise!!

What about Bridgeview Yacht Club??
I second that! I fell in love the minute I walked in!!!
We want a beach too, but this is on the water and beautiful!!! No beach but LB is very close so you can still do awesome pics there!

I live in Long Beach haha so I know all the good picture spots :) And I LOVE the bridgeview yacht club but FHs parents got married there so he thinks its out of the question. We're going to look at Danford's tomorrow and then Lombardis- Yay I'm starting to get excited again :)

What about Captain Bill's Bayview House? Or places like West Sayville CC or Timber Point CC. It's on a golf course AND you can see the water... so pretty!!!

Re: Sad and frustrated!
I booked Three Village in Stony Brook. My guest count is around 150 and they can accommodate up to 200 guests. I've had a great experience with them so far, they've made me feel like family and they're not pushy at all. I'm sure they could do it under 90pp depending on the time of year

i don't think you should count it out just bc fh's parents got married there! they redid all the draping, carpets, etc. etc. and i'm sure the food is much different now than when his parents got married! plus it might be kinda romantic to be able to say that you got married the same place his parents did! if you have any questions let me know

Re: Sad and frustrated!
crescent beach, woodbury country club, bourne mansion, old field in, westbury manor. all have beautiful grounds!
crescent beach is alittle bit more money but if you want a beach like lands end thats your place.
Woodbury is beautiful and they are VERY accomodating. The only reason why I didnt choose it was because I wanted a beach.
