I had two of my BM drop out last night... I had a feeling since these two are sisters and have not callled in there dresses yet... they were two of my OOT BM...

Awww... I am sorry to hear that! Was it because they didn't have the funds - or was it just hard for them because they lived so far away.
I know it stinks at the moment - but I know that in retrospect this will all be just a little bump in the road to your wonderful and AMAZING wedding day!
Still... I wish people would REALLY think it through before saying 'yes' to the whole bridesmaid thing.

Yeah I think too many people say 'yes!' just to say yes. Then they find out how much is involved. Everything happens for a reason. Better now then some drama later on.

I know what you are going through. I already had two BMs drop out of the wedding, but both were drama related and personally - it's better for me in the end to know the truth of how they feel. I'm not sure of your situation...but here are some

I couldn't agree more! Them saying yes then dropping out puts a huge stress on us! Atleast its not a month before your wedding!

I read your other posts. I am so sorry that your cousins can't pull up their tights and make it work for you. I am just like you. I would go into total debt to be there for a friend or family member I loved. I have done that actually! It just suucks when people let you down. You have every right to be disappointed!!!! Of course you understand but you certainly don't have to like it. They just wouldn't make the effort and that hurts. I am so very sorry honey.
Don't ever change! We will always bend over backwards and that will be rewarded. Karma is a biitch. At least you now have 2 less BM gifts to purchase!
That's F'd up! Not for nothing but you are completely right here. A year and a half is plenty of time to save if you say you are going to be in a wedding party. I can't believe they said it would be a financila burden just to come and then stay in NY for St. Pat's day. I say- GOOD RIDDANCE! You will def be better off without those two!
