Sad news...

I wrote a post about my dog Sammy, the vet called this AM and he was bleeding very heavily last night and the blood work came back that he had cancer so they put him to sleep this AM
We didn't even get to go see him. They said they could keep him on pain meds but by the time we could all get home wouldn't be right he is in so much pain they were suprised he was able to get around at all.

I am so upset

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR THIS!!! We just lost our Coco a month ago and it was like losing a family member. So painful.

I agree with Susi though, they should have let you say your goodbye - something.

OMG!! melissa i am soo soo sooo sorry!!! just know hes better off than still being here and being in pain...even though i'm sure it won't help.

I'm so sorry to hear this. We had to put my parents dog to sleep this year and it was very sad. Little Sammy is now in Heaven and in no more pain

I am so sorry! I know how you feel, because we put my baby down in April (she was wasted away with metastatic lymphoma and couldn't eat) I miss my kitty girl, and I know how you are hurting right now...I hope you feel better-there is nothing easy about it! My kitty Mouse and your Sammy are up in animal heaven together looking down at us Feel better!
