Sad - think it might be a problem

Well,we are not actually TTC yet, but I have been charting to help figure it all out. This month I Ovulated much later than last month, which is normal considering the pre-wedding stresses. Howeber, I got AF on 8 DPO last month it was 11 DPO, which at least is acceptable, but if I HAD been TTC this month it would be a bust
I am hoping its just a bad month and things look better next month (cause we are doing it for real come OCTOBER!)

Any advice? should I see my doc now, or wait till I have more chart data for him? (I only have 2 full charts)

CD8? How long is AF, if you only have 8 days total in your cycle there might be a serious problem. Implantation does not occur until 6-8 days after you ovulate so there will not be enough time. If you have questions, I will be happy to help, we have been trying for about 16 months so I have done a ton of reading in that time.

Sorry I typed way too fast.

I got AF on 8 DPO (days past ovulation)
my last cycle was 27 days, with ovulation around CD16 and AF around CD 27, 11 DPO.

This month I didn't Ov. till CD23, and got AF 8DPO (CD31)

Does that make more sense???

It does make a bit more sense, are you recently off the pill?

This is what I was just going to ask... When I came off of the pill it took about 4-5 months to regulate itself... My cycles went from 26-31 days. Maybe this is why?

I went off the pill like....6 months ago?? it has been a while now.... I am not so much concerned with my overall cycle length, but more with the short time between Ovulation and AF...

Please don't take this the wrong way but are you sure that you o'd late? Yes o'g late can be caused from stress, health ect. but the luteal phase is known to not change its length. For instance, this month I o'd early but my LP (luteal phase) was still the exact amount of time it always is.
When charting are you going solely off temping or are you charting your cervical fluid and cervical position as well?
Are you using a software or site such as fertility friend or ovusoft to help you keep track?

Yes, pretty sure, I have been taking my temp at the same time every morning for a little over 2 months and there was a definite temp shift. CM was right where it should be. My CM starting getting to be like EW right around CD 14 or so, but it continued like that for about a week till my temp finally rose.

I have been tracking in an excel spreadsheet, and I use fertility friend (VIP) so it gives me a coverline and O date also.

I am aware that the LP is not supposed to change more than a day or so, thats my concern. Usually if it does it means a problem of sorts.

If my temps are wrong than its possible that I could have ovulated earlier. But the temps aren't all over the place, they are down around 97-97.3 for a while, then they jump up to over 97.8-98 ... its a pretty clear jump on the chart. (I take my temp @6am, I think thats why my temps are fairly low overall)

gonna try to add a link to my chart
my chart

I would give it one more month of testing to come up with an average of your LP. I do believe that there are numerous things that can be done to lengthen your LP (such as using Progesterone cream). If you ahve anotehr short month I personally would speak with my DR.
