How many days of the week do you get out? Lyla is still not happy in the car seat, so I try to only go local during the week. I think I only get out in the car with her 2-3 times from Mon-Fri. THe other 2 days, I just make sure to take her to the park, which is only 2 blocks away.

We get out more on the weekend with Peter, but, I STILL sit in the back with her!

I go out somewhere maybe 3-4 times a week. I wait till FH is home so he can play with Emma if I have like 4 places to go since taking her out and putting her in the car seat is annoying if Im someplace for a couple minutes.

Emma is 16 months and FH still loves to sit in the back seat with her.

I am out with Paul at least once a day - I cannot spend the entire day in the house with him. Bad weather days REALLY annoy me, and with the winter coming, I just know I'm going to go NUTS

Oh, and I'm totally dreading the winter. I hope I make some more friends in my neighborhood soon!

You can all come to my house in the winter-I love playing with kids

I try to get out at least 3-4 weekdays, and weekends almost always with daddy too.

We go to the library (just went yesterday for a mother goose rhyme time they do ), bookstore, or just shopping around the neighborhood, he loves to be in stores and look around, although his patient is not as good as it used to be. I have to let him out of the stroller and walk around the stores with me, to let him stretch a little
I also have playgroups with local mommies, I go visit my mom and sister in Queens maybe every other week, sometimes they all come here and he has a day with his cousins...

I hate the winter too, so we'll have winter playgroups gals!

Anna- the library is such a great place for free, children activities. I don't think enough moms use it.

Niha- also look for a local Mommy-Me class. That is a great place to met other local moms and make friends. My stepmom met her best friend at one of those classes.

You guys crack me up! Why is it so difficult to imagine? There's ALWAYS some type of shopping that I can do...whether for a birthday, some occasion or we need something, so one day a week, I'm often at the mall or a small department store chain. Then there's grocery shopping once a week.

But to fill the other days, I usually go to visit my Grandparents at least once a week. I am VERY close to my family, and it is so important to my grandparents to see Paul once a week - it helps 'heal' what's ailing them, if only for a little while. They get so much joy from him.

Other days, I either make a play date with another Mom or I just take looooong stroller walks around the neighborhood with a stop at the playground around the corner, so Paul can stretch his legs.
