I was wondering in someone could recommend a salon where one of my bridesmaids could get her hair done for my wedding. She wants an updo of some sort....the catch...I need her to be ready for pictures by 10am so the salon would have to open early.
Jennifer from Fairlytale is doing hair and make-up for myself and my mom that morning...I doubt that she will have time to do her hair too....what do you guys think?

I don't know of any salons that open that early. You might want to ask Jennifer if she could do hers as well that morning.

I think that is what I may do...maybe when she is done with me and my mom and we are taking family shots she will do her hair. I wonder if I should get someone else to come for all of my girls... although none of them have expressed an interest

I'm going to see Jennifer tonight for my make-up trial. She's very accommodating, I think she can do it. If it's an updo it doesn't take as long.

I seem to remember that when I asked Jennifer about the possiblility of doing my hair and make-up as well as my BM's she said something about bringing someone else to do their hair - she'd do all make-up and my hair and the other people/person would do my BM hair

Thats a great Idea...but if its just for one person we may not need another person for hair....I guess I have to talk to my bridesmaids and see what they want

I am going to Maximus.....I think they open at around 8am - maybe even earlier.

JillyBean66 - where is Maximus? At my shower on Saturday I was talking with my BM. I also need to have them ready at my house by 10AM but we were trying to think of ways to get them to get their hair done and to my house by then. They were going to call their respective salons to see if they'd open early for 4 girls that day. But my sister, mom, and I will be at my house. I hope to have someone come to us. Though maybe my BM could go to Maximus if it's near us.

On Sundays Maximus (in Merrick) opens at 10am.

The other stylist - Bonny is great too. I've never gotten my hair done by her but I have seen her do hair and she's very good w/ updo's.
