Salon in Roslyn?

Hi! I've been reading the boards for a while but this is my first time posting (a newbie). Everyone has such terrific advice, hoping you can help:
I'm looking for a salon in Roslyn that can do hair and makeup. My reception is at Roslyn Claremont Hotel and I'll be getting ready there that day. I'm a Jersey girl and out of my element on LI!

hello! Im a Jersey girl too and getting married in Roslyn also. Ours is at the George Washington Manor right next door, we will be staying at the Claremont. Millenia is right behind the GW manor.technically you could walk to it form the claremont. I am probably just having my hair blown out really straight, laurie does a GREAT job, if I go with an updo, they have people there for that as well. They will go to the hotel. As for makeup, I am having Jacqueline Nicole do mine..she isnt in Roslyn, but she will come to the hotel the day fo your wedding. You can go to her for a trial..many of the girls on here are using her..she is really amazing. She is at

I dont have the number for Millenia off hand..but they are listed..I checked it out, brought my sister who is a stylist to help check it out, we were very happy with it. What part of Jersey are you in?

I've lived in Hoboken for 12 years. Grew up in Wyckoff. I like Roslyn...reminds me of Bergen County a little.

My FH lives in Forest Hills and works on Long Island...that's why we chose Roslyn.

BTW--i've heard great things about Geo Wash Manor.

We llive in maywood, bergen county! LOVe Hoboken..nothin beats an East LA margarita!! Not proud, but have several ex boyfriends in Hoboken
Let us know how ya like Millenia. The Claremont is such a beautiful place!! Im glad you heard good things about the GW Manor..I loved that place the minute I saw it. I like Roslyn too..its such a cute town.

I'm also looking for a good Hair/Makeup Salon in Roslyn. Does anyone know the number to the Millenia Salon?
