Now that my FH and I are doing off-peak time - we cant decide on the following
Wedding in March on Friday night vs. Wedding in May on Thursday night ( Thurs May 26 before Memorial)
same prices $ per person! ..................

I think Giorgio's @ FOX HILL is out... its 1hr and 30min away from us....
CLM is only 40 min
and the remainder is 25-30min away....

I'm biased and will say Riviera though I was looking at Chateau Le Mar (a little too far away for us). And I've heard great things about BYC.

I would do Friday in March. That way if there are any OOT, they won't need to take extra days off during the week. Then most people don't have work Saturday. Westbury Manor was a close 2nd for us. Good luck.

I'm doing a Thursday wedding on 4th of July weekend. We fell in love with our RH and to be able to afford it we are doing it on a Thursday night. I think you should go with the RH you like the best go from there about the day, some places run deals and are willing to negotiate more than others.

I would say the Friday in March. Many people tend to go away for Memorial Day weekend so you might get a few extra no's because of that.....

I'd go for the Friday night in March. As a guest, I wouldn't stay very long at a Thursday wedding knowing I had to go to work the next day.

I would vote for the Friday also. Keep in mind that because Memorial Day is already a 3 day weekend people may have trouble taking off the Friday before which would make going to a wedding on Thursday night difficult. Of course whatever you decide people will come, but as a guest I would definitely prefer a Friday.

I would do Friday in March, but you most likly can get your other vendors really cheap doing it on aThursday night even in MAy so check there price diff. as well!

i say go with the season you like better! Your family and friends will show up no matter what day your wedding will be. FH and I had the same situation, we could have had a saturday night in March for the same price as a Saturday day in June.... although i preferred Sat night, i really always wanted a June wedding so Sat. afternoon in June it is!
Out of the halls you mentioned, i would recommend Chateau La Mer. The food and service there was really good. I have also been to the Riviera. I haven't been to the others though. Good luck!

Personally, I love the spring so I'd say go with the spring wedding. Plus, March will come around and if your wedding is in July, you'll be like 'I could've been getting married now!'
I agree that a Friday night is going to be easier for many than a Thursday night too.

ITA - Also, keep in mind that if you have OOT guests, the hotel rates for a holiday weekend might be really high. I would look into that if thats something you have to consider.

Friday night in March!!! I prefer Friday night weddings to Thurday.
People who work would appreciate the friday night more. You want them to be able to relax and be comfortable and not have to worry about waking up early the next day for work.
But all in all you do what you can and what you want to because ultimately it's your wedding.

What you should do is make a list of the things you want, and then go back and see who gives the most for the $$ ...
Extra's add up!!
Don't be afraid to negotiate!! Tell them all that you have the same price accross the board, what can they do, maybe you can get some extra's thrown in ...
