Sorry that happened to you FH and I were looking into Sandals St. Lucia. If you put the deposit on your credit card, I would cancel it!!

I'm so pissed. I was looking online Wed at honeymoon spots and decided to go with Sandals St Lucia. I got a price and now today it increased by $900. On Wednesday the sale they were running was supposed to last 8 days. I dont know whats up with the price difference. Then I called up and got some idiot. Just needed to vent

it might only be on certain resorts and certain rooms.....i know one time i was looking and the sale was only on the more expensive rooms

hmmm i just checked and it looks like the grand st lucian is now only 30% off. when i booked they had a 40% off promotion on our resort.

we booked the last night of a promotion because we were afraid it would end, or that prices would go up in 08, and they ended up extending it for months. they usually have some promotion going on, but the perks vary.

you can always wait it out.

We didnt put anything down, we were just researching. I guess this is what i get for procrastinating (But i thought I had 8 days left) Well apparently if you dont pay off the whole thing in full and you find a better deal within 45 days prior to your departure they will match the lower price. Soooo... tonight we are holding it with $400 and hopefully it will go down within a year (we are leaving in Feb, so its almost a year away)

we did the same thing we booked during a 50% off promo we have to pay it within the week and still book airfare lol

It's so worth going!

I just posted on the 08 board some photos - we stayed at the Halcyon though and traveled once to the Grande and once to the Regency while we were there.
