Sandals HM....which one

but ive been to the grande in st lucia and sandlas in the bahamas.

I recommend the bahamas.

Well dont get me wrong St Lucia is beauiful and you will have a great time. Just comparing the 2 we preferred the bahamas but it just our prefrence of what we like.. you all might not mind.


the main reasons we liked bahamas best are:

st lucia you HAVE to use the other properties, because there arent enough restuarants at each location. We stayed at the Grande and were only 2 rest. we liked ( ithink there are a total of 3 maybe). But stuck it out and ate there all week, not to commute back and forth to the other locations, we got tired of the food. The bahamas has 8 rest. 1 we didnt like (french - but we just dont like french food)

bahamas has more pools and 2 swim up bars. The grande - only had 1

we felt the activites at the bahamas were better HOWEVER, the grand had more water sports included (water skiing, tubing, snorkeling)

there are casinos nearby in the bahamas (FH and I arent gamblers - but it gave us another option of soemthing to do at night)

We are thinking of Sandals Antigua as well. We have heard that specifically for HM's , it is great.

NP But dont let that really stop you from going to st lucia if that is what you really want. if you go you are going to love it and have an amazing time. In reality either place you go you are going to feel that way because sandals is one of the best places to go.

as far as service, atmosphere and quality they are both equal.

the things that i stated are just how we felt and our prefrences. but FH and I arent big drinkers or partiers. So for us, staying at one place was better than traveling.

Three of my friends from work booked their HM @ Antigua........and loved it.
There is construction going on right now.........but hopefully will be done before we go next JULY
