We're looking to go here for our honeymoon, I know a few of you have booked there. Which resort did/are you stay(ing) at and why? Did you go through a travel agent or did you go through the website, or neither? TIA!

I'm more scared of helicopters than a long drive.

We're going to the Grande St. Lucian. We booked through Sandals website when they were having a promotion. Penthouse Oceanfront Concierge room :) We're flying into the larger airport because we wanted a direct flight and im scared of tiny planes.
Thats exactly what we are doing. We got the deal for the Penthouse Oceanfront Concierge room and we didnt book our flight yet but are looking at American Airlines to fly direct into the bigger airport. The ride to the hotel isn't supposed to be great but oh well. FH wont do the smaller planes.

we r staying at halcyon its the smallest and cheapest resort we got a great deal and then we can just shuttle to the other resorts to use their stuff....we wanted to stay at grande originally but we figured why spend the extra $$ when we can just go there and use thir stuff
We're also staying at the Halcyon!
Mainly for the same reasons but we also got a ocean view room which for FH and I is just perfect!
I did hear that those that have the swim up rooms have to be careful - some of that area you have to share with other people.
And yes when they say all inclusive they also mean liquor as well

No, it's not sandals....but travel tom had suggested to us staying at grande for a couple of days and then going to jade, to help cut costs

we got a basic room.....wanted to keep it as low price as possible and figured we wont be spending much time in the room anyway....i also liked that it was smaller and not an many people as the others....more intimate feel to it
