Sandals St.Lucia!
Do you girls know if all the resorts are nice there? I heard 'Grande' is by far the best but 'La Toc' is a bit more reasonable! Also, looking to go for 9-10 nights but I am always seeing prices over $10K for a cool room (butler/pool) but I always see girls saying they are paying far less....what do you think?!Thanks :)

I'm staying at Grande. We are getting a butter suite but a pool was a lot more money so I figured it wasn't worth all that extra money.

I'm staying at the La Toc- We were going to stay at the Grande, but we heard that La Toc is a little quieter, and my FH wants to golf while we are there- The Grande has alot of music and parties at the main pool, which we will definitely check out though (you get access to all 3 Sandals resorts in St. Lucia with a free shuttle to all of them). Also, La Toc was a little less expensive for a butler suite- I think if you go for a butler suite you will like either resort!

Hi! My FH and I stayed at La Toc in December. We loved it, it was beautiful. It is def more a party scene, which I liked and a lot of young couples from NJ/NJ there. I highly recommend Joe Knows Tours for all of your tours they were amazing!

I booked at La Toc for pretty much these same reasons (minus the fact that my FH doesn't play golf haha). Mainly, La Toc was a little cheaper for the butler services rooms which is really what FH and I wanted. I read reviews that the shuttle rides were about 20ish minutes between resorts and yes, I do believe each resort has their own restaurants.

Agree 100% on the parties at the Grande. FH and I went a couple years ago, and the beach at the Grande was very loud and crowded. We went to La Toc for the Hibachi restaurant one night, and it definitely seemed quieter. La Toc was very hilly and I felt everything was a little more spread out than at the Grande. The shuttle didn't take too long, maybe a half hour or so? Each resort has several restaurants, the hibachi at La Toc was actually our favorite.
Something to keep in mind that I feel no one warns about is the fact that the Grande (and La Toc since they're close to each other) is nowhere near the airport. It was a 2 hour drive from the airport to the hotel and this is not a ride on the LIE. It's very twisty and bumpy to the point where I felt physically ill by the time I arrived. I would definitely take some dramamine beforehand. On the way back, we took a helicopter, which was by far the best part of the trip.

Thank you for the head's up! I get carsick on half hour rides on roads here so I probably wouldn't have survived that car ride without that warning!

The shuttle ride is pretty bad lol. I get car sick so it was rough for me.It's a little over an hour from the airport. We met a few couples there who splurged on a plane ride back to the airport.

Sandals has a honeymoon registry for all of you staying there- You can put the helicopter ride and a luxury car transfer on it if you don't want to take the big buses. I heard that the helicopter is a MUST, and that if you are going to drive, that you should book a private car because the taxi's they give you apparently fit 10 or so people, are not air conditioned, and make people carsick :(

Thanks for sharing! Do you by any chance know how much the helicopter is?

FH just said he thinks it was a little over $200pp. It was definitely worth every penny!
