Sans Souci, Sea Cliff
Is anyone planning to have their wedding at the Sans Souci in Sea Cliff? Or, has anyone been to an affair there? I would like to know how the food and service is there for a future event. Thanks!

Sans Souci, Sea Cliff
I looked at San Souci for my wedding last year. I've never had the food, but one of my friends planned her high school reunion there, and she raved about the food. Hope that helps.

I'm a Sans Souci Bride !!!
And I can't even begin to tell you how good the food is!! That has got to be one of the top reasons we chose the place, besides the fact it's right by the water, was small and cozy for our small party (100 guests) and was a great price and included the table centerpieces and cake. We dealt with Lou. We booked in February 2001. The bridal showcase and food tasting wasn't until April, and he promised us we'd get our deposit back if we went to the food tasting and weren't happy. We went with our parents and we all loved the food. We are having our reception there on May 11th. My uncle was married there in 1994, so that is how I knew of the place and it's reputation. It's a great place for a wedding with less than 150 people. Weather permitting, we plan on having our cocktail hour outside. Email me at [email protected] if you have more specific questions, or just post here. If you haven't already, call and make reservations to go to the next showcase/food tasting - January 24th I believe. It's free, just tell them how many are coming.

chmlengr...who is your DJ?
I am considering Joey from joeyjam.com, and heard he is the house DJ at Sans Souci. My wedding is at the Watermill, but he told me about getting a reference from Lou at sans.

I am a Sans Souci Bride, too!! We booked with Carol over the summer--and our wedding is this October. I've only heard good things about the food and the place. We plan on going to the food tasting on the 24th. Good Luck to you!!

Re: Joey/Jam entertainment
Hi Nina! I just booked Joey from Jam entertainment for our October wedding at the Sans Souci. I went to hear/see him when he did a wedding at the Coral House back in December--and everyone seemed to be having a good time. And his prices are so reasonable! If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [email protected] or post your questions here. Good Luck!

Nina - answer to your question
We are not going with the house band or DJ - we decided to book a band on our own instead. We booked the Times Square Orchestra, an 8-piece band. Let me know if you have any questions. The house vendors usually are at the showcase, in which case, that's coming up on the 24th.Welcome New Vendors
