Did FH pick your E ring all on his own, or did you pick it out, orrr did you drop hints of what you wanted? Also- for your wedding ring- did you pick it out yet? what do you want it to look like?
I totally dropped hints of what I wanted- we went in September of last year to look- & I actually found the setting (that I wound up getting!) that I loveee!- it was just a matter of FH getting the diamond-I absolutely love my ring- it is perfect. For my wedding ring- I think I just want a simple band that matches the little diamond that go down the sides of my E ring

My e ring is from his mom so our wedding bands will be will be the same.

I didn't pick out my wedding ring yet but I have an idea of what I want.
FH totally surprised me with my E-ring. It's funny because for some reason he always thought I wanted a princess cut and thats what he was looking at. A friend of ours got engaged and she had a solitaire so after we saw them, I said to FH on the way home how much I love round cut. He was having a mini panic attack in his head he later told me, lol.

My fiancé got lucky as my aunt gave him my great grandmothers ring to use for our engagement! It was so special! I have no idea what I want for my wedding ring it's going to be very hard to find one that matches the unique band of the e ring!

Good question!!
One random Saturday we went out to lunch and afterwards FH wanted to get batteries for his watches. We went into this little jewelry store and they said they could fix the watches while we waited whichs was fine by me because there were so many pretty sparkly things in the cases! Well, our watch trip turned into 2 hours of us trying on different rings and there were 3 that really caught my eye. FH went back and wound up getting my #1 pick because my 'face lit up' when I put it on. I love it! Its got a dainty, vintage feel to it and its totally unique! And it surprises me because its a princess with a halo setting and pave diamonds on the band. I always thought I would want a round stone.
For my wedding ring, I want a thicker band (probably 2x the width of my e-ring) with diamonds 3/4 around. I've decided I don't want it to be matchy-matchy. I want each ring to stand out on its own.
