they are so fun! and you can really find them for so cheap! Just a fun way to get everyone excited and let everyone know it's coming!

I like STDs. We all laugh b/c we have all our friends save the dates on our frig (even one couple that got married 2 years ago)
I think STDs are a must if your wedding is on a holiday or any other day then Friday/Saturaday. ALL my family is OOT so if i don't send the STD's they wouldnt remember to mark their calendars.

I had the same situation as you. My wedding is sunday night and my mom thought it was a waste bec she has never seen them or received one before so I get why she didnt understand, but I still did what I wanted and sent them.
