When do I send out save the date cards??

you could do it 8-10 months before the wedding. Its up to you some do it a year in advance or longer.

I'm sending mines out at the year mark.
I have a lot of out of town guest to the wedding

OKay thank you..b/c I will be getting the sample by feb 07 and I didn't know if I should send it out then or wait..

Well you can actually do it a year ahead of time. We all get std's because i guess we like them but the thing is its not necessary unless you are doing a holiday wedding, a destination wedding, or there are many other events around the same time. But I just noticed you are get married MDW so you do need to send them out and a year ahead of time would be good.

WOW I didnt realize that when I set the date lol atleast ppl will have something to do.Atleast I have found the place and my photographer and maybe my DJ.

yeah but its important to do your std in advance because many people like to go away mdw and some families do a yearly mdw getaway so its nice to inform them from ahead of time.

I think if you send them out end of march beginning of april thats more than enough time. If you're eager to get them out then send them out sooner.

mine are going to be magnets ... so i was planning on sending them out with the engament party invataions/announcment ... it will be way more than a year in advanced but i figure since its a magnet peole will seeit on thier fridge all the time ...

Mines memorial day weekend too, i am going to send them out around the year mark, just becuase it usually gets hectic for that holiday with traveling, etc.
