well i don't know what the original prices are at either place, but it should be a little cheaper than usual. So for example a saturday night wedding on mdw should be cheaper than other saturdays at the place during peak season

Alot of places were telling me to change my date that it would be cheaper but I told them I'm not changing my date a 3rd time.

So when the owner of The Irish Coffee Pub called me and we talked and he gave me a GREAT deal so we are going with them.

Say 10 to 12 months before the wedding. But I've heard of 2008 brides that send theirs out allready. Me, myself I'm going to wait until next year this time.

I'm doing my formal stds at the 1yr point, but since our day is so popular, we sent a mass e-mail to family & friends, whishing them a happy holiday, some Petey Pics, & letting them know we booked, where, & when...

yea when i set the date i didn't realize that it was MDW.

well i hope you got a good price bc mdw is usually cheaper

Wow really? When we looked at places it was the exact same $$ or more to get married Memorial Day Weekend. Now I wonder if we got hosed. Harbor Club is $94 pp for a Sunday night...

Well at first we were gonna have our wedding on MDW, but the following week we changed it to the weekend before. It was cheaper for MDW but we decided to go with may 17 regardless for different reasons. Also, many people have said how they paid less bc it was a holiday weekend.

We didn't pay lesss at the Woodlands for the holiday weekend. But they dropped the minimum which is what we have had problems with the whole time planning. We both were so specific on the place we wanted for the wedding day.
