Save the Date cards

When do you usually send out StD cards out?

I've read that you send them out about 1 year to 8 months in advance...

I agree with Maureen. It should be 1 year in advance. Yours should be sent out next month.

I definately plan to do save he dates because my wedding is on a holiday weeekend. I'll probably send mine out in May of 2008.

I was so excited I sent mine out already (they are in my albums). I figured since it was a magnet people would have it on their fridge so it will still do the trick.

I'll probably sent out mines either Sept 08 or Jan 09. My reception will be an 'adult only' one so my guests will need time to find a baby sitter.

I was going to give mine out at our eparty because for some reason I had a brain fade and figured it was a year away (wishful thinking)! I agree with the majority I would wait to a year or so before

I am jealous that you are having an adults only wedding...we wanted that and his mom shot it down before we done saying it... LUCKY!!!

The only children that will be attending my wedding are our nieces and nephews who are in the bridal party. I refuse to pay for children who honestly are not going to eat as much as an adult.

We are sending ours out a year before as well. Once I send them out, I feel like the wedding will be almost here. It feels so far away right now but I know that time will fly. I am enjoying being engaged right now.
