Save the Dates

Just wanted to share that at 1:30 this morning I finally finished our save the dates!

They came out awesome and for those of you who remember, I had initially wanted to order ones that cost $204. With a little effort I was able to almost duplicate them exactly and the materials only cost me $30. I'm so excited. Will post pics later.

Now, when to send them out? If the wedding is Aug. 2010 is October appropriate?

That sounds great - what a deal. I would say October for August is perfect. We're sending ours in October for July wedding, so you're right on target.

I bought all purpose cards from AC Moore (they are about the size of a small post card) and ink for my printer. Then I spent hours looking for similar fonts and found a few websites that let you download them for free! The ones I loved but could not bring myself to spend $204 on were from weddingpaperdivas.com.
