i have a question on how should you address the save the dates?? i don't know if it should be formal or not!? like should i address them like.. Mr. & Mrs. Cardoso? or with their actual first names? and what if your inviting the whole family, like the kids and all.. how should i address that? Mr. & Mrs. Cardoso and family? i hate doing this part of the planning, it's so annoying and you never know how you should address these things.. please give me some feedback girls, i'm wondering how some of you addressed yours! :)

Re: SAVE THE DATES QUESTION!
I addressed mine, ie: Mr. & Mrs. John Smith
if it is the whole family, I did Smith Family (not to be so formal.)

Re: SAVE THE DATES QUESTION!
I guess it depends on how many guests you have. I only have 80 guests and they're mostly family and close friends so they kinda know already. So I'm planning to send out a mass email with Save the date with a nice picture that includes the date (fh is a Photoshop wiz) and request them to start emailing me back with their address so I could send them an invite. I'm planning to do this 6 months prior to the wedding.
If you're having a big wedding I think the magnets work the best and they're really cute

Re: SAVE THE DATES QUESTION!
what do you girls think looks better...
Mr. & Mrs. John Smith
or
Mr. & Mrs. Smith
and if the entire family (kids) are invited doing...
Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Family
or just
the Smith family
also i think if its a couple that doesnt live together but have been together for a long time and we know them.. i think i am going to address them like this...
Mr. John Smith Ms, Mary Smith

I think Mr. & Mrs. Smith; the Smith family looks better. about the couple I would do: Ms Mary Smith & Mr John Smith (thats' how we got our invites before we got engaged).

Re: SAVE THE DATES QUESTION!
I didn't do formal... I just did Mr and Mrs for distant relatives, but first and last names only for people I'm close to like Jane and John Smith. I want to save the formal for the wedding LOL
