I will not compromise on photo and video. Also I am very picky about the hall so my budget on that is very flexible. Not looking for only inexpensive - but want good food and ambiance.

To make up for it:
*Flowers I will do myself - a lot cheaper.
*Invites are being done by my FBIL who is a graphic designer
*I am doing my own make-up
*CPs will be candles if they are not included in the hall - I am a candle consultant so I get a 50% discount!
*I am making the favors as well - FH will be doing the CDs and I am making almond flowers

I'm sure that it will be time consuming to do all this but I know it will be worth it.

I didn't compromise on my dress and the band. That was very important. Also, location and food within reason. Obviously I am not getting married at Oheka castle or anything, but, within limits we went for what we wanted.
Didn't compromise on photo & video. Thats the only thing that lasts!

I compromised on flowers - they will go bad the next day, I didn't want to spend much money on that. People tend not to notice them anyway.

Also, cutt down on the type of Limo we wanted, we were gonna get a 2 seat car, but decided to just go for 1 limo with all the BP there.
