Saying yes to the dress?

I am having a hard time finding a dress...I am looking for a trumpet or mermaid style and am just not liking anything.

Anybody else have this issue?

Have you tried on different styles beside the mermaid and trumpet? Maybe you will love something other than what you originally thought?

i couldn't find one mermaid/trumpet dress i was in love with. they either had too much going on or not enough and trust me, i tried on at least 100 dresses. i wound up going with more of an a-line.

Re: Saying yes to the dress?

I have been to wedding plaza, bridal reflections, wedding salon of manhasset. Bridal reflections carle place was a horrible experience. wedding plaza I tried on one dress. Manhasset had one kenneth pool dress that I liked, not loved! Needless to say I haven't tried on many dresses!!

I have an appointment in the beginning of March for Kleinfelds and Bridal Reflections 5th avenue so I am hoping I will find the one!

I have tried on other styles I just love the mermaid/trumpet because it works with my curves. I don't want to get lost in any other style dress if you know what I mean!

:( You will find something!!! Kleinfelds has a HUGE selection so I'm sure they will have something you like. Are there any designers you like specifically?

I like pnina tornai details on the top...i tried on an eve of milady with a gorgeous top, but it was princess bottom.

There are no designers that I am in love with so I am open to whomever.

I don't know if you woud want to do this but they can change dresses like take one top of one dress and one bottom of another. I would know because I changed a lot to my dress lol.

I'm obviously partial to Pronovias but i'd give it a try...trumpet, mermaid is the style I was originally going for and I found something similar--dropped waist (pic in album), which really accentuates the figure! They have gorgeous gowns at a lot of different price ranges to suit every budget.

I thought about it, just hate giving money and not being able to see it before they change it. Makes me nervous.

Have you seen anything online or in a magazine that you like? That's how I found my dress.

Ah ok...don't worry, you'll find it soon enough!!! Do a search on The Knot for that specific style and you'll see a bunch. Maybe it'll help you get some ideas.
