If you are staying overnight where you are getting married, and you have guests coming in from Out of TOwn who are also staying overnight, and your parents live more than an hour away from where your wedding is, will they also stay overnight? OR will they drive home that night?
I know this is a strange question.....I'm just looking to see what others would do

My parents live about 45 minutes to 1 hour from where we're getting married. They will be staying over the night before the wedding and also the night of the wedding.
FILs live about 20 minutes from where we're getting married. I am still keeping my fingers crossed that they will stay over both nights. But they've said they will stay over the night of the wedding.
BUT we are having a big RD the night before, and a big brunch the morning after ....

we are about 20 mins from RH and will be staying in Hotel night b4 and night of.... my parents are 3 hrs away and will do the same..... not sure about the whole bridal party yet

everyone who wants to stay is staying in the same hotel even if we are loud and racous! (spelling i know!)

I think it all depends on if everyone will be drinking.... My parents don't drink but my reception ends at 11:30 pm and they will be up early and out late, they don't live in the city so it will be easier for them. OOT guests will be staying in hotel because their drive is more than 2 hrs and my wedding ends late. FH and I will be staying because we have a 8am flight. I hope I answered the question

My parents live about 8 miles from the RH and are staying in the hotel .. this way they can come to the afterparty at the hotel bar, and drink until their hearts content!

We got a limo to take my parents and siblings home. Ffil doesn't drink so he will be driving him and fmil home.

my mother is staying over the night of the wedding & lives less than an hour away, she just doesn't want to drive home at 1am! as for the FIL's FH thinks they won't be staying over, they live about 30min away.

My parents live about 1 hour away and are staying the night before and the night of the wedding at the hotel. FH and I are going back to our apt considering it's almost directly across town

My parents are staying at East Wind the night of our wedding with a ton of out of towners and locals. They live about 30-45 minutes away

FH & I are staying at a hotel that is close to our home rather than the RH the night of the wedding. My thought was that if God forbid I forgot something at home (ie viel, shoes, ect) I could easily run to my house or have someone bring it to the hotel. My RH is about 45 min w/o traffic from my house.
My OOT guests and guests that just want to party and not worry about driving are staying at a hotel that is close to the RH. My parents are staying at the hotel the close to the RH too.

Both his mom and my dad are local, my mom is in CT and is staying at the hotel the night b4 and night of, we're going to meet for breakfast the next morning. Hubby and I are staying at the hotel night of and night after. Did I mention I am kicking him out of the house the night b4 to stay at his moms!

My family is from VA, so they're staying at the hotel before and after the wedding. FH's live 15 minutes from RH, so they're going home.
We have a bunch of friends who live close enough to go home after the reception, but all of my family and some others from Westchester and CT will stay at the hotel. I figure it's up to them whether they want to drive home or pay to stay. I think most will go home!
