School Bus as Shuttle?

My FH and I are trying to book a shuttle for our guests. The ride between the hotel and the venue is about 15 minutes, and the best price we've gotten so far was from First Student for school buses (less than half the cost of a charter bus, and much more flexible on times/trips).

Does anyone have experience with First Student? Are the buses clean and in good condition? I have no problem with using a school bus, but I just don't want it to be a bus in poor condition.

Are there any other school bus companies we should call to get quotes from?

Does anyone have any other thoughts or recommendations about using a school bus or any other low cost shuttle ideas?

[Also forgot to mention that we have about 80 guest to transport, so a hotel shuttle or smaller bus is not an option. We actually need 2 buses to transport everyone.]

Did you try coachman? They have buses that have large capacity and were the cheapest of the places I looked.

The only other school bus company I can think of is Atlantic Express.

I've tried numerous of the coach bus companies that I've seen recommended on here, including coachman. I've gotten some good prices for coach buses, but none of them come close to the school bus price, and I don't feel like the extra money is worth it for a 15-minute ride (if it were a longer trip, I'd definitely do the coach bus).

I guess I just wanted to see if anyone on here had any feedback on First Student before I took the plunge and booked it.
