school schedule- HELP ME!!!

our nyc school calendar for next year just came out and I am freaking out!!!

We always finished school the last week of June, usually on Wednesday... so I planned my wedding for June 27th. That Saturday after... or so I thought... next year our last day of school is

FRIDAY, JUNE 26th!!!! what the hell am i gonna do????

can i take off the last 2 days of school? do I call out sick??? it will be obvious!!! do i work and suck it up!!..the worst part is... I am having a day wedding on Saturday!!!

help!! help!!! what do i do?!!!

by the way my principal isnt very nice.. she is bipolar!!! i can't change the date.. i started booking vendors and i put deposits down!!!

Ok, so you will be tenured, thats great! I also work of the DOE and I would personally wait to tell your principal until next year when the programming is already set, your room is set and all AND most importantly your tenure is in place! I wouldn't worry about it, and I would take that friday off.
I am getting married the week before presidents week and I am taking that entire week off. I will be tenured as of sept, and I have asked the secretary about the week off, and she said she doesn't think it is a problem at all, the only thing that I am nervous about is that my principal is retiring this june. So I am not going to bring it up to them until mid september.
