the jurors speak of what an emotional toll this has been.. question.. then why don't they all just go home and go to their families?
i guess everyone wants their 15 minutes.

I don't want to say I am happy he will die but I definitely think justice was served.

Re: Scott Peterson Verdict
Doesn't anyone think he is getting the easy way out? I mean, I know death row is not the most exciting place to be, but doesn't anyone think getting life would have been harsher?

No i don't think it is the easy way out 1. He will be on death row for about 10 years most likely before he is killed, if he even gets it.
2. if it is the easy way out...WHY CONTEST IT??? He will contest the sentence...If it is SOOOO desirable then wouldn't you want it to come as quickly as possible!

Very True. Supposedly, the place he is going to be in only allows the people on death row to be let out of their cell once a day for a few minutes and the cell is so small, you can touch all four walls while sitting in your bunk bed. I don't know...I just feel like he should suffer by being confined for life, because he'd have to grow old in jail. And I also keep thinking, 'two wrongs don't make a right.' It just seems like warped reasoning to me...a man murders so you murder him back to teach everyone a lesson. It seems so primal, so trivial, so sad..... Believe me, I do agree that he should suffer though.

That jail cell is tempting...and if they wold take off a limb each year and make him eat it....THAT WOULD BE PERRRRFECT!!!

I would gladly pay to be there for the execution. He deserves everything he gets. He killed his wife and child. If he was so unhappy he should have gotten a divorce. It should have never gotten that far. He should die.

DITTO..
Although I think that lethal injection is to good for him. The should Tie some cement shoes to his feet and dump him in the bay and let his lungs fill up with water as he drowns and see how he feels as he is dying. AN EYE FOR AN EYE!
