Although I think that lethal injection is to good for him. The should Tie some cement shoes to his feet and dump him in the bay and let his lungs fill up with water as he drowns and see how he feels as he is dying. AN EYE FOR AN EYE!
MY thoughts exactly... But before they send in to the fishes... chop off his balls and feed it to him

I never was for the death penalty before...until NOW..I hoped this would happen..he is the most disgusting person I have ever heard of..He is getting exactly what he deserves..I also hope that he is being 'taken advantage of' while in prison too..just to add to his hell!!!

Wow, am I the only person on here who doesn't believe in the death penalty?
I agree that what he did was horrific beyond words and I don't think that it should go unpunished, but I just don't think anyone has any right to take anyone's life - even though he took someone else's...
I know all the arguments for the death penalty, including it will cost more to keep him alive than to execute him, but I just can't condone it.
It makes me sad that so many people are so gung-ho about it...

They have three of the jurrors on Court Tv and they said that he showed NO EMOTION at ALL. What a Sick F*ck B*stard.
the jurors speak of what an emotional toll this has been.. question.. then why don't they all just go home and go to their families?
i guess everyone wants their 15 minutes.
I don't know about you but.. I was intrested to hear what they had to say. Also they have been able to see their families just not discuss the case!
I see these people as vampires. Honestly. As a juror, you come in.. you do your duty.. then go home.
They knew (as soon as they found out that this was the Peterson case) that this would be a ticket to the talk TV circuit. That was clearly demonstrated by the quickness of the interview after the penaylt verdict was reached
They have about another 12 minutes left ... before the reunion special.

Doesn't anyone think he is getting the easy way out? I mean, I know death row is not the most exciting place to be, but doesn't anyone think getting life would have been harsher?
Although, I agree with the death penalty, I really wanted him to get life as well. He is so young, that spending the next 40 years in prison with no women to romance and thinking about his crime seems more just to me. Plus, being on death row, he won't be in with the general prison population. I say let him out with the rest of the prisoners and see how well he is treated. A baby killer doesn't fair well in prison. Now he will be on death row and isolated with an end in sight.

I am opposed to the death penalty. I believe that all of the arguments in favor of the death penalty are weak and unsupportable by facts and statistics. I will cost much more (maybe up to 5 times more) money to have SP killed then to have him serve life in prison. This is $ that can be used to fund education, counseling for families in need, health care, etc. I am a member of amnesty international and if anyone is interested in info re death penalty I suggest visiting these sites: http://web.amnesty.org/pages/deathpenalty-index-eng

Oh he'd definitely have some 'romance' in the general prison population. He deserves it.

I guess my worry would be that some change in the law could set him free. SOmeone just told me a story about a lady who killed her daughter 12 years ago and got out last week because they changed the law.

No, you are not the only person who is against the death penalty.
I don't believe anyone should have the right to take another person's life.
And what if there is a mistake .. or what if despite overwhelming evidence .. the person convicted is truly innocent .. no matter how hard it may be to believe.
It happens.
60 Minutes just did a segment on a guy who's sitting on death row .. for the murder of a woman .. through the appeals process and better testing now .. there is significant evidence that provides for reasonable doubt (60 Minutes explained the details in their segment .. after first pointing out evidence that made you believe he was absolutely guilty and wonder why they were bothering with the story) .. the segment also said how there are 6 judges who have called for this man's immediate release .. but yet he still sits on death row!!
I'm sorry .. but this is the kind of mistake that absolutely can not be made.

Just wanted to add .. the DA said if that man on death row (in the 60 Minutes segment) just admitted to being guilty .. they would take him off death row .. yet the guy maintains his innocence .. so he stays on death row. Sorry .. but to me .. that's messed up!! He should admit to his guilty to come off death row .. otherwise he stays???

And who's to say in 15 years that person sitting on death row could be found innocent with further advancements in testing.
Look how far we've come in 15 years .. who knows where it can go from here .. and if the system puts an innocent person to death .. who's responsible???
Just what gives 'we the people' the right to decide who gets put to death??
