Scotto brothers brides... which photographer are you using?

If I don't start booking my vendors soon, I am afraid nobody is going to be available the day of our wedding. I feel as though I don't know where to start. All I have so far is the place (Fox Hollow) and our priest (we also need a rabbi). Does anyone have any suggestions on which photographer offers the most for your money as well as taking great pictures? I would like to visit maybe 3 photographers to start, and hope to be able to make a decision from 3, although I know it may wind up being more.

Also, any suggestions on dj's, videographers, florists, etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We are using Rick and Co. for photographers, he is reasonable, and his pictures are very clear, FH is afraid he is going to have to wear make up!!! He is located in Holbrook, but worth the long drive out there.
For florist we are probably going with Colonial florist, however it is too soon to get a price quote from them, they want to see you 6 months before the wedding.

Does anyone have a DJ recommendation???? That is all we have left before we get the wedding attire, and invitations, etc.
To all your brides out there, guess what??? I saw my FH watching a wedding story today! I was shocked .
thought the vendors might help even though I am NOT a Scotto brothers bride. Good luck!

Another Westbury Manor bride here. We aren't using any of the house vendors - I was really put off by the way they pushed them on us.

Photography: Creative Compositions in Oyster Bay
DJ - We are using a friend of the family

Thats about all we have done so far.

I am getting married at NRC and my brother SCrest Hoolow.

We are both using Fine Art for photo/video and Flowers by Brian for flowers.

I am using Spin Around Sound for my DJ. My brother has a badn and I can never remember the name.

I am a Scotto Brothers Bride (Chateau B.)
I will be using Cassarino for photography, but not b/c they are recommended, but b/c I've seen them work, they did my girlfriend's wedding, and they were great !!!

For video, I am considering Wild Rose. I had a great time talking with them and seeing their work.

For florist, I went to visit Spitz and Peck, a recommended florist, and I was disappointed. They were a little pricey, and they wouldn't be able to do my flowers the way I wanted. For instance, I wanted peach/white lillies in my bouquet, and he told me peach lillies don't exist. Since then, I've found out there are a few different varieties of peach lillies. So in my opinion, either he doesn't know flowers, or he didn't want to go through the trouble of importing these lillies, which I would pay any price for. Either way, I will not deal with them. That's just my experience.

Besides that, I will check out their other recommendations, as well as do my own leg work, and see how I make out.
