SCRAPPING!!

Hey ladies...
I just started getting into scrap-booking about a year or so ago...and i absolutely love it!
I am looking to join a scrapping club, or something where girls get together, scrap and chat. Does anyone know if this even exists?
Please let me know!!

I live in Wisconsin and many of the scrapping stores have workrooms that are open during the day and late on Friday and Saturday night which is fun because you can buy stuff and then sit at a table and scrap.

I don't know what LI has to offer, sorry but check it out if any of the stores have it.

Hi there--Another LIW bride turned me on to www.scrapbook.com. I recommend it. They have a forum like this one, articles with ideas, and some places to order things by mail. They do scrapbook challenges where they give you an idea and you make a layout about it. There are many of those and I just picked 3 to do for February. Right now I am doing a layout about a childhood toy that I have always kept. It was an idea from there. They also give you color ideas,etc. You can upload photos of your scrapbook pages if you want, and people give you feedback.

I talked to some other Long Island scrapbookers on that site and I went to a crop in Seaford and that crop is held every month. I've have been making scrapbooks for a long time but that was the first time I went to a group thing. I want to do more of them, because it really is fun as a social thing.
