Yeah, its a favor idea, you buy $1 scratch off 9 $2 I guess if you can afford it)...but wouldnt it be a real kicker if someone won BIG at your wedding? They would get all the attention??? LOL

We thought of it b/c FH won a huge sum right before we got engaged and his borther (FBIL) won the JACKPOT a year ago, so we figured it was family luck....and our STD's are the scratch off kind...

Then I definately think it is a cool idea - I love getting scratch offs in my stocking at x-mas time. I never win though (good thing FH is lucky)

It's cute! I love doing scratch offs..always get'em from peple at christmas time and once I won 40 dollars, It was the best card I ever got! Cute with the penny in it, too! I'd go to the bank and ask for rolls of shiny new ones....if you can make such a request!

Would each guest get one ticket?

my grandmother is BEYOND obsessed with scratch off tickets...I know she would be doing that as well!!

To be totally honest, as much as I love scratch off tickets, I don't really like them for a wedding favor. I'm picturing the stuff from the scratch off all over the table and the tickets littering the table and the floor..I think it takes away from the elegance of the wedding. JMO - no offense to anyone doing this!

the thought has crossed my mind but i'm not sure how i feel about the scratch offs. i personally love them but i know a few people who 'hate' gambling and it might offend them believe it or not..
