How is everyone sealing your invitaitons ? old way or something new let me know

Our invite has our monogram. I had a company custom make a wax seal stamp with the same monogram and i am going to wax seal the backs with a gold-ish colored wax.

I licked and sealed mine, then put a sticky pearlized seal on it to be safe.

First we licked. Then we used a sponge when licking got tiresome. Then we used a glue stick when I saw that some of our envelopes that already had calligraphy on them had no glue!!!

we used a glue stick- the one that goes on purple and dries clear. we also had a sticker that matched the border of our invites.

We sponged and then had silver rose stickers.
