Seamstress NEEDED

I need a seamstress to alter my wedding dress. I purchased it at David's Bridal and they are outrageous on their pricing. Does anyone have someone they can recommend. I can understand pricing because of detail and complexity but stupid Davids Bridal charged one of my bridesmaids $30 less then the cost of the entire dress for just a hem alteration. The girl could have purchased a whole new dress for that price.

I know an excellent one in Valley stream. She did my gown, my MIL's, and my grandmother's. She is EXCELLENT.

I need the hem, bustle, and top done. Nothing major just tweaks. Its not that I am looking for 'cheap' per se but this is what davids bridal did to my bridesmaid. She ordered her dress $140. It fits perfectly accept for the hem. They charged her $120 to shorten the hem. That is where I have a problem.

I have heard lots of horror stories so I would rather not deal with them. That is why I am trying to find an outside source.

Alterations by Millie -- she is FANTASTIC! Works out of her home in Floral Park and is a vendor here on LIW. She used to be the head seamstress at Priscilla's of Boston before they closed!
