Re: Season to be wed
October & November....such a beautiful time of year.... Autumn, Fall...call it what you may, but it's gorgeous, the temp is just right, the air is crisp... I could go on forever...
ETA: Not a past bride...hehehe...just love this time of year!!!
June & July...hot. Well too hot for me. I'd be cranky. Poor poor FH! April sounds nice, but since I'm a fall person..Oct or Nov is my choice.

Re: Season to be wed
I'm not a past bride, but here is why we chose November:
1. we HATE the heat and humidity 2. we both love the Fall, it's our favorite season 3. we loved the idea of foliage in our wedding pics 4. I know you said not to mention this, but the price sealed the deal for us. it was even cheaper than October.

Re: Season to be wed
I think June and July could be very hot and I hate the really hot weather. And that equals a possible bad hair day and being uncomfortable in a big dress.

Whoo hoo! My kinda girl! I agree with all 4 items! We actually picked 11/05, but FH wanted a Sunday, so we tried 11/06...I think my WM bud...Kia74 is getting married that day so we were able to get October for Nov prices!

Re: Season to be wed
I love summer months so July was the pick for us! pros, i dont know what your career is but i am a teacher so a honeymoon after wedding was important to us...the flowers are beautiful, the warm weather is great...but it MAY be too warm for an outdoor ceremony, I dont know though ...how about May? May is a great month for an outdoor ceremony, you know the little saying, april showers... so it would worry me with an outdoor ceremony fall is nice too, but too cool

I don't think it would be too cold, but maybe just for a day wedding.

It was the BIG talk of this year. 'They' were talking about extending the DST in the Spring and in the Fall. It passed, but is not to go into effect until 2007,(-sorry...just so excited it didn't happen this year!) so...the clocks will not go back until later Nov, which means sunset will be later than it normally is.

1) Lovely month - but it's the 'busiest' and therefore the most expensive
2) Too hot - hurricane season if thinking about HM in the Caribbean
3) Nothing wrong with it...has its warm days and it starts to get cool toward the end. Hurricane season if thinking about HM in the Caribbean
4) Great weather and foliage. It gets dark early so that limits picture time.
5) It's cold toward the beginning and there's always the chance of snow. But it's a great month and the sky is usually clear and great for pictures...except when it's raining!
We picked May...

Re: Season to be wed
We picked early June b/c we wanted an outdoor ceremony but not have it be too hot! Also, our ceremony is 7:30pm so it will still be light out.
I've always wanted a summer/beach theme wedding so we knew we had only June/July to work with.
