Seating Chart Hell!!!

So I am getting a little preview here to just how stressful the seating chart for the wedding will be. In the meantime, here is what I am working on.

My EParty is at Pompei in West Hempstead. We have 96 attending. We have 10 tables that hold 8-10 comfortably. I am trying to make a seating chart but it seems almost impossible! Some people are telling me that it's not necessary to make one for the EParty, but I feel like with 96 people among only 100 available seats, it has to be done!

Am I just driving myself crazy or can I avoid making the seating chart??? lol

don't do it! its too stressful, I dont even want to make one for the wedding!!

I agree with the rest of the girls. Don't stress yourself over it. You'll have enough stress when you do the wedding one. Lol

I agree with everyone else! I was just thinking about this too, and I am NOT looking forward to the seating chart planning! Most people won't expect to have assigned seating at the e-party either, so you can totally avoid it :) Good luck with your party! The Pompeii is practically right around the corner from where I live, and I've heard nothing but great things about their food and service!

Seating Chart Hell!!!

I totally plan on having a seating chart for my e-party. We invited well over 100 people, my parents are divorced and mom and dad's families aren't too civil with each other. I'm thinking a seating arrangement will be necessary and I'm DREADING it

Honestly, I would do it. I hate going to a party and seaching for a table with people that I know & one that has enough spots. I plan on doing it for my engagement party, even though it is a pain in the butt. I think it makes things easier for guests.

I def agree. There were about the same amount of guests at at our engagement party and had no seating chart.

for future reference, weddingwire's seating and guest charts are great. they make seating charts not that stressful. you seat people as they rsvp - i thought it would be a lot more stressful, but it wasnt bad. good luck!

I had one for our e-party and we had around the same amount of people. Even though it's stressful, it was definitely worth it. I felt that with that many people you need to tell people where to sit or it will be chaotic. People are up and out of their seats all night, but for eating and putting their things down it was better to have it. Hope that helps!

I did one for my eparty. Start with the easy people like fam... Then your and his friends. By the time you are done you have the stragglers that make up the final tables
