MY street has not seen a plow since the storm started. I'm stranded. I work in Port Washington and the LIRR is only running every 2 hours and there's no guarantee you can get on a train. I have no way to get to work and my job is angry with me. Anyone wanna pick me up?
FUKC YOU BLOOMBERG, insisting the city did a great job. NO YOU DIDN'T, not when there's residents stranded for 2 days meanswhile Manhattan is moving along just fine. FUKC YOU!

seriously, Manhattan may be fine but everywhere else is still a serious mess. They did plow our street but hardly and the buses and trains are all running so slow and are extremely packed. It took me forever to get to work today and then I get here and wondered 'what was the point?!'

Re: SECOND DAY OFF FROM WORK

queens is a hot mess right now. it took FH forever to get to work
good thing he drives a huge firetruck and can just run things over!!
Although they were crazy the past two days. 1300 9-1-1 calls and most were idiots stuck in the snow. they started getting so mad at people making calls to help pull them out that they started ripping the bumpers off the car when they were being pulled out just to prove a point.

one of my bosses gave me such an attitude, like it's my fault that we had a huge blizzard and the LIRR shuts down.
i tried; i'm not gonna stand out in the freezing cold for 8 hours trying to get on a train - 3 was long enough.

If it makes you feel any better: my block hasn't been plowed either. We do live on a private road, on the east end, I think we're one of two year round residents here...

Re: SECOND DAY OFF FROM WORK
Bloomberg is a d*ck. He's all irritated because people are complaining. Well, you aren't stuck in your house!!! I did the right thing, I stayed home and left my car in my driveway to keep myself and others safe and now I'm paying for it.
Andmy street is perfectly legal. the end of my block is literally the LIE service road!! ***??
And I'm not complaining that my street is hard to get off of or that it's messy. I'm complaining because there's still 20 inches in the street and they haven't come ONCE.
