Second Guessing Hairpiece...Need Opinions
I really hate how indecisive I am lately!!!
This is the hairpiece that I bought a few months ago:
It goes with all of the detailing on my dress with both the pearls and the crystals, plus it's gold so it complements the ivory better. So I bought this set of DOJ to match:
So I plan on wearing my hair half up/half down, with a bit of a poof in front and the veil clipped low in back, similar to these pics...
So now I'm not certain about my hairpiece, because I can't see how it would be able to be worked into my hair without sacrificing the style.
I found this beautiful barrette, courtesy of twoifbysea, and now I'm wondering if I should buy this instead, cut the loss, try to sell my original piece, and be done with it.
It also matches the detailing on my dress perfectly with the scrolls and crystals, but now since there's no pearls, I wonder if it will look stupid with mainly pearl DOJ (I also have a pearl bracelet in addition to what is pictured), and I wonder if once I take off my veil, if it won't be enough going on. Clearly subtlety isn't my strong point.
So I know this was really wordy and long, so if I managed to keep anyone's attention...
Keep original tiara comb, or switch to barrette?
